linux help needed!

I HAVE BEEN USING FC5 FOR SOMETIME . ONE PROBLEM I AM ENCOUTERING FRQENTLY IS MY TERMINAL AND GNOME DESKTOP CRASHING FREQENTLY.ALSO I AM ENCOUTERING A SOUND SERVER ERROR USING A NULL OUTPUT. any remedies available please mail me at beton_kool123@yahoo.co.in wish u all a happy computing.

Printer driver problem

Hello my dear friends.I have made a serious mistake by purchasing a Canon (pixma ip1200) printer without check the Linux Compatible hardware list. Its my request to all of my linux user friends that you please make it sure that you are buying a hardware which must be in the Linux compatible list. Otherwise you may face problem while installing it.There is another serious topic is that I was contact Canon India support/helpdesk but there customer support presonal Mr. Srinibwas said that he is unable to help me.If any one of you can help me to get that Canon pixma ip1200 printer driver please inform me at gdas_quickmail@yahoo.com. If its possible friends please flash and publish this news to the other Linux user group to aware them about Canon printer driver unavailability. Thank you friends.
